Dry Red No 3 is a unique field blend of 6 Portuguese varietals, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Cao, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Roriz, Alvarelhao and Sousao. Each variety brining it's individual aspects to the blend. The varieties were planted in what Dr Bailey Carodus referred to as the New Territories block in the 1990's. The first working of the must is with the feet as is traditionally done in Portugal.
