Oxford Landing Chardonnay 2024

The chardonnay for this wine is sourced from vineyards in South Australia, where access to the latest clonal and rootstock combinations continues to deliver outstanding fruit.  Winemaking is focused on minimal intervention with the use of wild yeasts, malolactic fermentation, lees contact and subtle oak to give this chardonnay depth, complexity and personality.

Dandelion Chardonnay Twilight of the Adelaide Hills 2023

Whole bunches from our best Chardonnay Vineyard in the heart of the Adelaide Hills were hand-picked in the 2nd week of March, in the twilight, our Chardonnay’s acid sunrise, being the cool of early evening, then destemmed in small batches without crushing the fruit to fill our press exactly.  The free-run juice was then fermented in a small stainless steel tank between 11 and 14 degrees Celsius and then finished fermentation in some new and first-use French Oak Barriques. The wine has a high level of natural acidity, and although bone dry an alcohol of only 12.5%.  This 14th vintage of Twilight of the Adelaide Hills Chardonnay was bottled after 9 months with minimal winemaking artifact to capture the essence and purity of the vineyard.

The Tiers vineyard in the heart of the Piccadilly Valley was planted over 40 years ago by Petaluma’s founding father Brian Croser. The soils are free draining clay loams with the geology of calcsilicate which imparts the distinctive mineral characteristic in the Tiers Chardonnay.

Petaluma Yellow Label Chardonnay 2024

Mandala Sands Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2024

A mixture of chardonnay clones P58, 76, 96 and 95. The juice was cold settled then transferred to a mixture of new (20%) and old French oak. The wine was allowed to rest in oak for approximately 10 months after which time, all barrels were heavily scrutinised to create a wine highlighting the multi layered complexity through the diversity of clonal material.

Kooyong Single Block Faultline Chardonnay 2022

Seppelt The Drives Chardonnay 2023

The Drives by Seppelt wines celebrates the superb regionality of selected Victorian Vineyards as well as the determination and vision of Seppelts founder Joseph Ernst Seppelt, a pioneer and visionary winemaker from the Victorian era, who planted the first Seppelt Vineyard in 1851.The fruit for The Drives Chardonnay was primarily sourced from vineyards located in the Yarra Valley and Henty regions. Both regions are known for their cold, wet winters while the summers have warm days and cold nights, which is perfect for producing Chardonnay with intense fruit flavours and crisp, cleansing natural acidity.

Pyramid Valley Lions Tooth Chardonnay 2022

Biodynamic. This site takes its name from the vineyard’s abundance of dandelions (dent-de-lion—‘lion’s tooth’—in French). The original 0.4 hectares of vines were planted in 2000 at a density of 11,111 vines per hectare, with a further 2.8 hectares planted between 2018 and 2020, though the majority of the fruit for this wine (89%) comes from the 2000 plantings. The biodynamically farmed Lion’s Tooth is a steeply inclined, east-facing site on soils described as having a “nut and crumb structure and great mineral fertility”. It’s the classic limestone and clay of the area but with a higher balance of clay (30%) than Field of Fire.
