Eagles Rest Syrah Maluna 2019

The Maluna vineyard is nestled at 240m above sea level in the foothills of the Broken Back Range and is one of the highest altitude vineyards in the Hunter Valley. 2019 Maluna Syrah was made from the best parcels of fruit and reflects the special nature of the site on which the fruit is grown. A deep red with great concentration and depth. Bright red fruit, forest berries and dried flowers overlay darker notes of spiced plums and black cherries. Hints of chestnut, clove, and subtle spice. Sweet cola, amaro bitters and a savoury, earthy finish.

Brokenwood Hunter Valley Semillon 2024

Vibrant in colour, with lots of luminous green tints. Lovely florals and green apple blossom aromas. Mouth-filling flavours of lime juice, green apple, and lemon pith balancing the zesty acid backbone. The flavours linger on for quite some time, a classic Hunter Valley semillon to enjoy now or age gracefully.

Tyrrells Hunter Valley Shiraz 2023

The Hunter Valley Shiraz was made from grapes grown on some of the top blocks on the Tyrrell’s estate and surrounding area, which have an average vine age of 40 years and are mostly dry grown. The autumn and winter months of 2020 saw the worst drought in a generation be broken with substantial rainfall, which led into an outstanding growing season for the 2023 vintage. Tyrrell's Hunter Valley Shiraz is made to the same high standards that their flagship Vat 9 Shiraz receives. The fruit is destemmed, but not crushed, to ensure as many whole berries as possible made it to the fermenter. The wine is then matured in older, large format French oak casks. These 2,700L casks highlight the fruit purity whilst making sure that oak isn’t the dominant character.  A modern, medium-bodied Australian shiraz. 

Tyrrells Vat 9 Hunter Valley Shiraz 2021

Vibrant purple in colour, a regal nose showing lifted spice, dark fruits and subtle hint of oak. The palate is medium-bodied showing great intensity and the velvety texture that is seen in the best wines from this vintage. The palate structure is effortless with no rough edges showing wonderful balance of fruit, acid, oak and tannin.

Mount Pleasant Mountain D Full Bodied Dry Red 2021

A tribute to Maurice O’Shea, this wine takes its name from his old ways of naming wines by style rather than variety. Hand picked and cold soaked for five days. A rigorous pumping over routine followed inoculation with the wine pressed off at dryness. Transferred to 45% new French oak barriques and puncheons for 12 months before blending.
