This case is full of exceptional wines including the 97-point rated Magarey Lane Shiraz, normally retailing for $100, and the Qantas Wine exclusive from Halliday Wine Companion five-star Jim Barry.

This case is an outstanding collection of premium bottlings collated for your enjoyment. Normally $150, the case features two bottles of Penley Estate Eos, a wine rated 96 points by the Halliday Wine Companion. Other notable inclusions are the $99 Allegiance Unity, a cabernet sauvignon from Coonawarra, and the 92-point rated Nanny Goat Pinot Noir from New Zealand’s premium pinot producing region of Central Otago.

This case is a celebration of Australia’s most loved variety, representing a variety of styles and regions. Leading the charge is the $55 RRP Old Paddock and Old Hill Shiraz by Hunter Valley producer Mount Pleasant, which attracted a score of 97 points from the Halliday Wine Companion. You’ll find two excellent expressions of shiraz served in Qantas Business, Lambrook from Adelaide Hills and the First Village from Barossa producer Bethany. Other highlights include the Immortelle from Ulithorne, rated 95 points by Wine Orbit, and the Qantas Wine exclusive Arrona Estate from Coriole of McLaren Vale.

Penley Estate are making merlot cool again! A modern icon of South Australian winemaking, Penley Estate was born of a marriage between the Tolley and Penfolds winemaking dynasties. Their merlot is juicy, slurpy, and bursting with medium-bodied blood-plum fruit, rated 95 points by the Halliday Wine Companion. Bleasdale have been making wine in Langhorne Creek since 1850, this year they celebrate their 175-year anniversary. Malbec is a particular speciality of Bleasdale, and their Generations series celebrates their long history in the region. Redolent of black fruit, earth and spicy cedar, it’s rated 96 points by the Halliday Wine Companion.

A well curated collection of premium young wines to cellar and a limited aged release wines to drink now. Highlights include the aged Petaluma Cabernet Merlot Evans Vineyard 2015, the Jimmy Watson Trophy Winner; Hentley Farm Old Legend Grenache 2021 and Barossa's Schild Estate Moorooroo Shiraz 2020 (RRP $199) which is made from the four remaining rows of vines planted in 1847 by Ann Jacobs, this iconic wine is as rare as it is delicious.

Central Otago and pinot noir have become synonymous, Nanny Goat produce this 92-point rated wine from fruit from their own Queensberry Vineyard, as well as premium growers throughout several other sub-regions of Central Otago. Typical of the regional style it shows forthright fruit with velvety tannins. This is coupled with the exceptional, muscular but elegant Chalk Hill Alpha Crucis Southern Cross Shiraz from McLaren Vale, a wine rated 96 points by Winepilot, for a case that represents incredible quality and value combined.

Penfolds Reserve Bin A Chardonnay has evolved into a wine that is now a distinctive, single-region style in its own right, with a contemporary and expressive Adelaide Hills chardonnay persona. Fruit is hand-picked into small bins and then whole-bunch pressed. A portion of the juice is incrementally filled to barrel directly from the press and allowed to undergo a natural fermentation, sans inoculation. Every new and seasoned French oak barrique is its own unique 225-litre ferment.
