Penfolds Grange Jeroboam 2020 3L Rare Allocation

The most powerful expression of Penfolds multi-vineyard, multi-district blending philosophy, Grange is arguably Australia’s most celebrated wine and is officially listed as a Heritage Icon of South Australia. Crafted utilising fully ripe, intensely flavoured and structured Shiraz grapes, the result is a unique Australian style that is now recognised as one of the most consistent of the world’s great wines. With an unbroken line of vintages from the experimental 1951, Grange clearly demonstrates the synergy between Shiraz and the soils and climates of South Australia.

Alkina Polygon #3 Grenache 2022

There are three polygons that have, since the very early days, looked like they could stand apart as Single Polygon wines. Polygon 3 is 0.274 hectares (ha) and approximately 200 vines. Its soil profile is shallow red brown earth over deep chalky, sedimentary limestone which contains fractured schist and limited iron. Polygon 5 comprises two similar parcels of 0.12ha and 0.25ha, a total of 0.37ha. These Polygon 5 sections have deeper soils and well fractured schist with ferric clay (within the fractures).  Polygon 1 was defined in Pedro’s second visit in 2018. The block is 0.4ha which Pedro divided into separate areas and recommended that we exclude one section of 0.097ha which lacks the fractured schist of the other sections.

Kooyong Ferrous Pinot Noir 2021

This single block wine is sourced from 0.79 ha of gently sloping 24 year old vines. These vines naturally produce low yields due to a combination of unique orientation, free drainage and high exposure. Together with this, the soil has a far greater prevalence of ironstone pebbles than any other part of the vineyard and delivers wine with great concentration and savoury tannic presence.

Douloufakis Dafnios Liatiko 2019

Dáfnios Red was released as "Dafnés" back in 1997. Its label was redesigned in 2005 and in 2009. "Dáfnios" derives from the name of our village, "Dafnés".

Liatiko variety gives us delicate and light wines with ruby colour. We suggest you try it in a burgundy shape glass that perfectly unfolds its aromas. It has concentrated aromas of fresh red fruits, herbs and light floral aromas. As it ages, develops a unique bouquet of ripe fruits, leather and spices. It has light body, good acidity, soft and delicious tannins and long aftertaste, traits that portrait it as a very elegant wine.

Tyrrells Vat 8 Hunter Valley Shiraz Cabernet 2019

Vat 8 Shiraz Cabernet is sourced from Shiraz grown on the Tyrrell Estate Ashmans and Cabernet Sauvignon grown on the Pokolbin Hills Estate. The blend for the 2019 vintage is 90% Shiraz and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Clonakilla Shiraz Viognier 2023

You really have to smell this wine to believe the intensity and purity of fruit received in the 2023 Shiraz Viognier. As Clonakilla SV goes, this vintage strikes as archetypal, style-defining, the essence of cool-climate shiraz. It is certainly beautiful; aromatically thrilling with a classically luminous, elegant palate.

Henschke Keyneton Euphonium 2021

Keyneton Euphonium is a beautiful compisition of shiraz from up to 50-year-old vines growing in the Eden and Barossa Valleys, blended with cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and merlot from selected vineyards in both regions.
