Koomilya Estate Cabernet Touriga 2021

Upon purchasing the vineyard in 2012 Stephen Pannell saw it as an ideal place to create blends that included grape varieties he believed will see McLaren Vale into the future, and further, and complement the traditional varieties of cabernet sauvignon and shiraz. He grafted two contoured and terraced blocks on deep red soil closest to the scrub at the top of the south-facing slope to touriga nacional with the intention of blending with tempranillo, graciano and mataro. Blending with cabernet sauvignon was never planned, but as fate would have it, there is a magic between the two varieties that can’t be ignored. 

SC Pannell Little Branch Grenache 2022

Stephen’s interest in grenache stretches back to the mid nineties. Upon arriving in McLaren Vale, a preference for making medium bodied wine led Stephen to grenache and the love affair began. Given the region’s warm Mediterranean-climate and proximity to the ocean grenache is ideally suited to McLaren Vale and perfectly at home with the food and lifestyle. Grenache is well on its way to becoming McLaren Vale’s most recognised wine and their true wine of place. Little Branch Vineyard, Blewitt Springs, 30 year old unirrigated trellised vines grown on 50 million year old soils comprised of Maslin Beach Sands flecked with iron stone at 140m above sea level. 

Fetherston Botanical Camellia Cabernet Malbec 2022

A bright and seductive blend of Yarra Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (87%) and Malbec (13%). Crafted with hand-picked fruit from two premium Yarra Valley vineyards. Fermented wild and matured in second-fill French oak barriques, where it saw three months élevage prior to bottling. An easy-going, delicious blend –the ideal barbeque wine. This boutique wine was crafted in small quantities by Yarra Valley vignerons, Chris Lawrence and Camille Koll and offers incredible value for money.
