96 Point Mystery Margaret River Classy Shiraz

This winery focuses on producing wines that reflect the terroir of Margaret River, sourcing fruit from their Cowaramup and Miamup vineyards, some of which are over 40 years old. A cleverly made shiraz that showcases what the variety can deliver in Margaret River, it offers rich and intense layers of dark plum with subtle notes of chocolate and savory oak.

Mystery Vibrant Margaret River Chardonnay

This Yallingup based producer emphasizes the influence of the maritime climate and the specific characteristics of their vineyard locations in producing elegant and refined wines. This classic example of Margaret River chardonnay has mouth-filling flavours of ripe peaches and zesty lemon curd with delicious mineral driven acidity. 

Flametree Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2023

Individual harvests were crushed, chilled and pressed into tank for a 3-4 day settling. All batches were then racked and warmed before either going into barrel to undergo wild ferment or inoculated using selected yeast stains. 43% of the juice was barrel fermented wild with grape solids, 5% of the barrels were new with the remainder being older, large format oak. A small portion of whole berries were added to the ferment to give further texture and complexity to the final blend.

Flametree Cabernet Merlot 2020

The 2020 Flametree Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is very aromatic, showing mulberry, plum and cassis together with dark chocolate notes. The palate shows ripe, fleshy varietal cabernet fruit characters finishing with fine, soft tannins.

Flowstone Queen of the Earth Chardonnay 2020

A poised, refined, and powerful expression of southern Margaret River Chardonnay. Evocative notes of honeysuckle, pear essence, citrus blossom, fig, vanilla pod, lemon zest, nougat, minerals, flint, bread dough, and stone fruits are all present. The palate is full of supple ripe fruits, seamlessly cradled in refined oak flavours and textures. A subtle caramel and creamy nutmeal complexity acquired from lengthy oak maturation and complete malolactic add further dimension. The finish is chalky and citric, giving palate tautness, definition, length, and balance. A wine destined for graceful aging.

Notes of nectarine and tangerine couched in a delicate and textural mouthfeel: the result of a wild ferment with some of the juice solids.

Wills Domain Semillon Sauvignon Blanc Mystic Spring 2024

A young Haunold grew into a huge giant after drinking from a miraculous spring within the Dolomites. When threatened with invasion, the villagers pleaded to the giant for help. In exchange, Haunold demanded one calf, three bushels of beans and one barrel of wine per day! Not being able to maintain these payments, the villagers set a trap and captured him. As the legend goes, the giant Haunold still sleeps, imprisoned in the mountain that still bears his name. Sourced from the low yielding Estate plantings, these Mystic Spring wines unite the intensity, definition and purity of the fruit, with the precise and Wills Domain delicate winemaking style of Wills Domain.
