The Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades Brut Gold Champagne NV features aromas of peach, apricot and red berry aromas, followed by crystallized citrus, orange blossom and hints of brioche. The palate is rich with cherries, exotic fruits and a touch of lemon, vanilla and honey. The mouth feel is soft and creamy, with a hint of toastiness, from the unique Armand de Brignac dosage which is aged for one year in French oak barrels. Armand de Brignac is a Prestige Cuvee produced in the traditional, old-world style, from grape to glass. Armand de Brignac Brut Gold is a singular example of French Champagne tradition.

Laherte Freres Les 7 NV (Disg. Oct 2022)

Disgorged November 2022. This is one of the most distinctive wines made in Champagne, a super-complex, fleshy and savoury (peppery, nutty) wine that is as delicious as it is fascinating. Les 7 is a single-parcel field blend from a plot in Chavot, planted by Thierry Laherte in 2003 to make use of the heirloom vines of fromenteau, arbanne and petit meslier already growing within the family’s oldest vineyard plots. The addition of chardonnay and pinots noir, meunier and blanc have made a unique co-planting of Champagne’s seven permitted grape varieties.

Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs 2013 is the quintessential Blanc de Blancs.  This exceptional vintage celebrates the savoir-faire of the people at the heart of each bottle. This cuvée is, above all, defined by an ageing process that brings more complexity and depth. For Dom Ruinart, the Maison only selects chardonnay from exceptional terroirs, mostly grand cru. 90% of our chardonnays are chosen from the Côte des Blancs (Le Mesnil-sur- Oger, Avize, Chouilly & Cramant), the heartland of this variety, with easterly exposure; and the other 10% are from the north-facing Montagne de Reims, particularly the grand cru sites of Sillery, the Maison’s historic vineyard. Also a first with this vintage, Ruinart has revolutionised its packaging with the new "Second Skin" case, which replaced the unitary boxes. This sustainable innovation required two years of research and development. Dom Ruinart’s chalk wrap offers a new interpretation of this innovation. Velvety soft to the touch like chalk, with its gentle reliefs and crevices crisscross, as if carved directly into chalky rock. A hand-applied gold marking enhances its exceptional character. The discreetly engraved 1729 on the fastening button indicates the heritage of Maison Ruinart, the world’s first champagne House.

The 4th edition of Extra Brut Extra Old is a unique blend of six of Veuve Clicquot’s most prestigious reserve wines: 1996, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014.  Just like the creation of a perfume, the essence of such mature or, as called, “spices” reserve wines will bring concentration and depth to the blend.  The wines are aged in bottle in Maison’s crayères for a minimum of three years before disgorgement, giving it texture and aromatic complexity. This blend requires a low dosage of 3 grams of sugar per liter.
