Heirloom Adelaide Hills Syrah 2021

Heirloom Vineyards was conceived in vintage 2000, when a young winemaking student caught the eye of a silly old wine judge. A love story ensued inspired by two vows: To preserve the best of tradition, the old world of wine and our unique old vineyards and to champion the best clones of each variety planted in the most appropriate sites embracing the principals of organic and biodynamic farming. Seven long vintages of trial and error passed before Heirloom Vineyards could make a wine that was fine enough to pass on to future generations. That is this wine.

The GB series Is the epitome of a great wine from South Australia. Only the best parcels of grapes are selected to produce fruit driven wines with good balance, which can be enjoyed without years of cellaring. The wine offers excellent value, quality and consistency.

Haselgrove Ambassador Shiraz 2021

Haselgrove’s very own estate selected shiraz has been very proudly named after our ambassador, Les Burdett OAM. All individually numbered, with proceeds from the sale of the 3,048 bottles donated to Les Burdett’s charity of choice – Variety, the Children’s Charity. Selected from Haselgrove’s own vineyards in McLaren Flat from vines planted in 1972. Soil is deep sand to sandy loam over clay. Very gentle north westerly aspect with East West row orientation allows more delicate characteristics to develop. Characteristics common to the sub region include blueberry fruit, some red fruit, plums and a subtle violet lift with elegant tannins.

Somewhere in McLaren Vale you’ll find a very special block of old vine shiraz. If you search for it, an olive grove to the west and an ancient chapel will be your guide. The shallow soils overlying a bedrock of limestone and the gentle sea breezes consistently provide us with fruit of exception quality.

Torbreck Run Rig Shiraz Viognier 2019

Complex and lifted aromatics of dense black fruits such as blackberries, satsuma plum and black cherry complimented with dark chocolate, cacao been and liquorice. The opulent mouthfeel, liveliness, and vibrancy is a real standout on a plush and velvety textured palate structure. The complex layers and fruit characters continue to evolve in the glass with firm but drying tannins seamlessly balanced with long acid and statuesque posture and length.

Schild Estate Three Springs Shiraz 2021

Sourced from premium, family owned vineyards in the southern Barossa, hand harvested and then crushed into traditional top fermenters. Aged 18-24 months French oak hogshead.

Haselgrove Catkin Shiraz 2020

Catkin is blended from four parcels of wine, each from a unique micro-climatic region of McLaren Vale. The first from Whites Valley producing wines with textural tannins and great flavour depth. The second from McLaren Flat is off the vineyard surrounding the winery, producing elegant lifted wines with fine tannins. The third from Blewitt Springs  produces wines with elegant red fruits and hints of menthol. And the last vineyard from Aldinga produces full bodied wines with dark fruits. The resultant blend, is one of exquisite balance, far surpassing the sum of its parts.
